Royal Academy of Dance Classical Ballet

Every young girl dreams of becoming a ballerina. For the past 15 years at Elite Academy of Dance many have followed this dream and joined our Royal Academy of Dance baby ballet classes. Elite Baby Ballet is the start of a journey that builds on the basic five ballet positions. Baby Ballet are classes designed for ages 2- 5. As they master these skill sets, it allows them to progress through the age groups and Royal Academy grades. This will also help with balance, flexibility and coordination. Building student confidence as well as their understanding of musicality and core strength. All this while having fun at the same time during thier ballet classes.

What to expect at Elite Academy of Dance

Studio

Our private ballet studio in Greenock is the perfect place to learn in a safe secure environment. Elite Academy of Dance moved to its current studio in 2010.

 
Performance

After working away at their ballet classes, all our students have the opportunity to take to the stage every year at our summer show. Our summer show runs for three nights at the Beacon Arts Centre in Greenock.


Teachers

All teachers at Elite Academy of Dance are fully qualified teachers with the Royal Academy of Dance.  It is so important that students are taught by industry professionals. Teachers have completed and graduated from a two year full time teacher training course with the Royal Academy of Dance. Once qualified teachers have to continue training on a yearly basis.


Progression

Baby Ballet Inverclyde is just the start of a student's journey.  At Elite Academy of Dance there is an established path way through the ages and Royal Academy of  Dance grades with 27 different ballet classes on offer every week.
